Yoga

 Why Yoga?
Yoga helps you both physically and mentally. If you follow a regular yoga routine you will find that you have greater vitality-better posture-improved circulation-respiration and digestion-bright eyes-glowing skin and good muscle tone.

Stress
Your grades are slipping. Generation gap doesn't even begin to describe the problems you're having with your parents. You don't have a love life to speak of. You're always short of money, but your parents say you spend too much.  Your hair's not right, your clothes are all wrong. Your face looks like a pimple factory. You're too fat. You're too thin. Are you stressed out or what?

Is it cool
Fighting with your parents and siblings, whining about your problems, banging your head on a wall-is no solution. Have you ever considered yoga? You're probably wondering how deep breathing and twisting your body into impossible positions is going to affect your grades or your lack of a love life. Also, you're probably thinking that yoga's not cool. What will your friends say? But just keep in mind that Sting is a yoga enthusiast and see where he is. The fact is that the West is being drawn more and more towards the ways of the East. Why should we wait for an outsider to endorse what is inherently ours before we think that it's cool?

What is good about it
The only thing you need is self-discipline, a good teacher, the time and the inclination. That means you don't have to dip into your pocket to pay expensive fees for gyms and aerobic classes. Also, you may not know it, but it begins to take immediate effect though you may only realize the benefits slowly. In addition, it's not about competition or reaching a particular level of proficiency. Anyone can do it irrespective of age, sex, and size. You don't need to have a special talent or exceptional intelligence and no one is going to judge your proficiency. So there's no stress about achievement.
The actual benefits

Yoga helps you both physically and mentally. If you follow a regular yoga routine you will find that you have greater vitality, better posture, improved circulation, respiration and digestion, bright eyes, glowing skin and good muscle tone. What more could you ask for?
But there's more. You'll also find that you're calmer and more peaceful. You won't fly off the handle so easily. You'll feel more confident and have a more positive approach to life in general. You won't find academics such a drag, as your concentration will improve.

Don't set goals
As mentioned earlier, yoga is not about competition and reaching goals. It's not about losing 3 kilos in 2 weeks or being more flexible and fitter than your friend. Everyone's mind and body responds to yoga at its own pace. By setting unrealistic goals and having unreasonable expectations you're defeating the point of doing yoga. Don't apply materialistic rules to a spiritual exercise. If you're content, you're doing the right thing.

Yoga Tip For a Tny Belly!

healthy mind in healthy body.
Hatha yoga is a method of anti-stress exercise that tones the whole system, strenghtens the immune system and keep the body's physically, energetically and mentally fit.
The gentle, non-invasive yoga poses have a positive impact on the heart, the circulatory, endocrine, digestive and myoskeletal systems. They enhance agility as well as muscular strength in the body. Promoting good health, they are an excellent form of preventive medicine. Breathing is directly linked to the autonomous nervous system, the mind and the emotions. Conscious breathing means calmness of the mind, absence of emotional turmoil, strength of will and right action.
Learning to be conscious of our breathing and to connect breathing with movement is one of the main concerns of Yoga, thus offering a feeling of mental balance, relaxation and wholeness.

we teach:

Asanas: Exercise poses that train the mind and the body, enhancing its psychosomatic health.
Pranayama: Breathing exercises that cleaning the body from the inside out, strengthen the immunity of the organism, calming obsessive thoughts, develop the ability of discernment, self control and the realization of internal needs.
Dhyana: Meditation. "Exercise in stillness that reveals the internal dimention of the soul and the spirit, enhances self-observation and self-understanding; it cultivates the soul and builds character, and helps in the healing of diseases, by acting on the inconscious level, by treating its causes rather than the symptoms.
Natya Yoga is an integral yoga that envisages the spiritual enlightment and transformation of the entire human nature: one's body, heart, mind and soul. A fundamental text of Natya is the ancient
gandhurva veda, a supplement to Sama Veda. The occasional incarnations of apsaras helped bring Natya to the physical world.

YOGA BEAUTY
Youth is a time of life when one is looking for entertainment. As a youngster, you may not realize but each day you are creating the steps for your future. Someone said that youth is wasted in passion and wisdom comes too late. It is such a true statement as youth has the energy to change the world, but it cannot as it has no wisdom. And in old age one may have wisdom but there is no energy left in the body or mind.

Most youngsters do not know themselves. And this is the biggest challenge for a youngster as this simple statement affects all parts of a person's life - education, career, relationships, and marriage. Unless you know yourself, you can never find success in this world. This applies to people of all ages but as the youth have energy it is easy for them to transform. Man is a creature of habits and as he gets older, his habits get engraved into his mind and he becomes a slave of them.

For example, your father might want you to become a software engineer, but until you know yourself you will not be able to look into his eyes and convince him that you want to do something else. This is nothing but clarity of heart and mind which will come only when one does Yogic practices. I know the youth will take Yoga casually. This is the tragedy- One discovers Yoga when it is too late and thinks to him self- "I wish I had started Yoga when I was younger.

I would have been happier, healthier, fitter and more beautiful." This is what most film stars say to me all the time! Just 20 min a day is enough to make a difference to your life. The as an as and pranayama taught in Yoga may look boring, but as you practice them you will see the following benefits.

1. Your eyes will be brighter. They will sparkle.

2. Your skin will glow.

3. Your body will slim down.

4. Your concentration and focus will go up.

5. You will need less sleep in a day and you will be fresh every morning.

6. Just a twenty minutes of studies a day will be good enough for you to absorb the same information that you take one hour to learn. How does all this happen? The answer is simple - Yoga makes your body healthy and also clears your mind. Making your body fit can be done in the gym but clarity of mind is something only Yoga can do. Yoga removes your stress and your tension. Once you have clarity of mind, everything falls into place. Your career. Your relationships. Your life.
